Potter’s House

Starting your morning off right, while making the world a better place!

Potter’s House, located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Northwest, is a fantastic place to go for coffee you can feel good about. While serving certified Fair Trade products,  every wall of the shop is adorned with books for sale on a variety of relevant social topics. Pick one out and educate yourself!

Opened in 1960 and renovated in 2013, Potter’s House advocates “building relationships across differences”. Amidst all of the urban development taking place within the city, it is a staple of the area that aims to bring the community closer together.

It’s a perfect place to get some studying done, or hang out with some friends for a few hours. Any coffee you choose costs under $5. There are several solid food options as well, so you have more reason to spend several hours here!
